On the roundabout of The Hague's historic Passage, you will find the warm Gallery61. In this monumental building, located at number 61, local suppliers and art take centre stage. This is reflected in the dishes but also in the bar.
For Brasserie Gallery61, we are looking for someone who is flexibly available for +/- 2 to 3 days a week, focusing on evening hours. On the basis of a 0-hour contract.

Job Description
Responsibilities & duties
- Taking care of mise en place, such as setting/preparing tables, preparing cutlery and table linen, etc;
- Managing the use and consumable stock (linen, crockery, glassware, cutlery, hot holders, etc.)
- Signalling expected shortcomings and defects so that progress is not compromised;
- Assisting in setting up rooms (receptions and parties).
- Taking orders, explaining menu items or advising guests on their choice of drinks and menu;
- Consulting the manager or the kitchen in case of special requests from guests;
- passing on orders to kitchen or buffet, explaining specific wishes;
- If necessary, preparing simple orders yourself (pouring drinks, preparing small dishes/snacks, etc.).
- Supplying and preparing (breakfast) buffets;
- Serving orders (dishes, drinks) and performing (preparation) tasks at the table;
- Serving during receptions and parties.
- Checking, remitting and accounting for monies received;
- Preparing bill and settling with guests;
- Taking/noting table reservations, coordinating with superior in case of special requests or expected problems with table occupation.
- Cleaning up and clearing up afterwards;
- Clearing/cleaning public areas and work areas.
Qualifications
Job requirements
At least a completed MBO education level 3
Insight into the (legal) safety and (social) hygiene regulations
Good command of the Dutch and English language, both written and spoken
