Job Description
Sales Manager
Through your passion and motivation, you sell memorable experience to guests who stay in your property. You are professional and knowledgeable about your property, and you build strong relationships and create bond with your guests.

What you will be doing:
Solicit group, transient and/or banquet business, and reach consistent achievement of sales objectives
Establish parameters, quotes and negotiate prices and seal contracts
Participate in tradeshows, conventions and promotional events
Maintain accounts, contact, activity and business details
Qualifications
Knowledge of industry / travel
trends to be able to develop and
monitor the hotel’s commercial
strategy in conjunction with the
GM
Able to make commercial
decisions to maximize MICE &
Rooms income on a daily basis
Top line forecasting and revenue
management
Great attention to detail and
organisational skills are a must
for this fast-paced role to ensure
all deadlines are met for all
Groups, MICE & Corporate RFP
requests.
Excellent interpersonal skills to
develop relationships with local
clients, direct bookers and
agency bookers, which in turn
will allow you to ensure a strong
base of new and regular repeat
business.
Strong knowledge in quoting
converting and managing large
group bookings is essential
Experience in a large events
Additional Information
Manage the day to day of the
Reservations and Sales teams,
ensuring that the weekly, biweekly
and monthly tasks are
being followed
Ensure our content and social
media KPIs are being met
Analyse results of the ecommerce
campaigns and
promotions to ensure
investment levels are inline with
expected ROIs.
Generate new business through
marketing initiatives.
Carry out local research of
potential new local business.
Maintain records and ensure
appropriate follow up with your
GM, RSM, and the Accor MICE
sales team
Actively manage business
bookings and relations with key
entertainment clients and
sports / football team travel
managers
Ensure contracts, pro-forma,
credit checks are always issued
and followed up on.
Represent the hotel in local
stakeholder
