Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Duty Manager to join our team in Mumbai, India. As a Duty Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and leading our front-of-house team to success.

·  Manage front-of-house operations to maintain high-quality service standards
·  Supervise, coordinate, and plan daily activities of personnel across all areas
·  Handle guest challenges and situations professionally, serving as part of the first response team
·  Complete daily running sheets and ensure effective communication across all departments
·  Monitor and report on staff attendance, punctuality, and performance
·  Achieve budgets, customer satisfaction targets, and other key business metrics
·  Receive and address verbal complaints, escalating to senior management when necessary
·  Implement and conduct training programs for employees, including induction and skills development
·  Maintain and improve service quality standards throughout the facility
·  Ensure compliance with hygiene standards, food safety regulations, and company policies
·  Coordinate with kitchen staff and higher management to facilitate smooth operations
·  Oversee the proper use and maintenance of software systems and equipment
·  Assist in protecting and maintaining control of designated areas

Qualifications

·  Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Duty Manager in a similar hospitality setting
·  Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field
·  Strong leadership and team management skills
·  Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
·  Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service
·  Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus
·  Experience with hospitality management software (e.g., Ento, Interlex, or similar systems)
·  Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
·  Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
·  Proficient in sales techniques and revenue management
·  Knowledge of industry standards, best practices, and relevant regulations
·  Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
·  Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
·  Proven track record of achieving targets and driving continuous improvement
