Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Duty Manager to join our team in Chennai, India. As a Duty Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of our hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and leading our front office team.

·  Manage daily front office operations, including reception, concierge, and guest services
·  Ensure high standards of customer service and address guest inquiries and complaints promptly
·  Coordinate with various departments to maintain seamless hotel operations
·  Oversee check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring efficiency and guest satisfaction
·  Manage room inventory and maximize occupancy rates
·  Conduct regular staff training and performance evaluations
·  Handle VIP guests and authorize special courtesies when appropriate
·  Ensure compliance with hotel policies, safety regulations, and standard operating procedures
·  Monitor and balance daily financial transactions and reports
·  Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards in all front office areas
·  Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas
·  Resolve conflicts and make decisions in high-pressure situations
·  Promote upselling opportunities to enhance revenue

Qualifications

·  Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field
·  Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in hotel management or front office operations
·  Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
·  Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
·  Strong communication and interpersonal skills
·  Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service
·  Proficiency in hotel management software and property management systems
·  Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
·  Demonstrated experience in financial management and budgeting
·  Strong organizational and multitasking skills
·  Cultural awareness and sensitivity to diverse guest needs
·  Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
·  Knowledge of local attractions and ability to provide concierge-level information to guests
