Job Description
· Pick up / Drop hotel guests at predetermined locations and predetermined times in a friendly and courteous manner.
· Duties include operating and maintaining transportation vehicles with a focus on safety and customer courtesy.
· Assist guests in the handling of luggage and large packages.
· The driver may open the car door for guests.
· Educate passengers with regard to local information.
· Performing daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
· Performing minor maintenance tasks on the vehicles when necessary.
· Fuelling the vehicle.
· Ensuring that periodic scheduled vehicle maintenance is completed and reported.
· Documenting customer usage.
· Preparing trip reports.
· Preparing accident and incident reports as necessary.
· Assisting guests in and out of the vehicle.
· Providing other services as requested by management when not engaged in transportation service.
· Should be familiar with the roads and landmarks in the UAE (Especially Dubai).
· Should also be knowledgeable of all local rules of the road.
· Co-ordination and information with the Concierge, Front Office and other departments.
· To effectively handle all guest requests.
· He/she is familiar with all related company documentation and especially with the relevant Operational Standards Manual for his/her field of responsibility.
· Other duties as assigned
· Carry out any other reasonable task (which may not be stated here) as requested
· Review and update the Logbook.
· Be smart, well groomed and maintain a friendly and cheerful disposition all the times.
· Report regularly on happening to FOM/Doirector of Operations.
· Maintain associate relations.
· Resolve guest complaints.
· Ensure the services are up to the required standard.
· Check hotel situation, occupancy, functions, groups and VIPs.
· Attend training classes as per schedule
· Show fullest cooperation and respect within the team and other departments
· Is aware of the daily activities and has product knowledge of all the hotel facilities
Qualifications
Diploma or degree in vocational hospitality, 1 – 3 years experience in 4-5 star Hotel
