Job Description
As Doorperson, you are the first welcome and the final farewell — the quiet confidence at the heart of our guest arrival experience.
In this role of presence and poise, you will greet each guest with warmth, attentiveness, and a refined heartfelt service that reflects the essence of our hotel. You will be entrusted with creating effortless transitions: opening doors, assisting with luggage, and offering a sense of calm and care from the very first interaction.
Beyond the door, you’ll support the broader Concierge and Front Office team in delivering a seamless guest journey — including valet service performed with precision, lobby presentation, and maintaining a secure, polished environment. Every moment is an opportunity to create connection, elevate expectations, and leave a lasting impression.
This is more than a role at the front door — it’s the beginning of a guest’s story with us.
Qualifications
You will harness your luxury attitude , with humble excellence , a distringuished presence , and elevated emotional intelligence . Your pride and passion will be complemented by:
· A full clean drivers license.
· Your ability to initiate contacts and establish rapport easily.
· Projecting professional image at all times through personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
· Your ability to organise time and work efficiently.
· You will need to hold working rights for New Zealand.
