Job Description

As Director of Sales & Marketing , you will lead the development of innovative strategies that drive revenue growth and strengthen brand positioning. This senior role requires a visionary leader with strong sales expertise, strategic marketing insight, and the ability to inspire teams while building lasting relationships with customers and partners.

Some  duties include:

·  Lead the hotel’s overall commercial strategy, aligning sales, marketing, events, rooms, and food & beverage initiatives to drive revenue and long-term success.
·  Develop and execute short- and long-term sales, marketing, and business strategies to achieve revenue goals and grow market share.
·  Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and business performance to identify opportunities and adapt strategies as needed.
·  Oversee departmental budgeting, forecasting, and the execution of key sales programs and initiatives.
·  Build strong relationships with clients, tourism partners, airport and community organizations, and third-party travel partners.

Qualifications

·  Proven leadership experience in hotel sales and marketing, with a strong ability to inspire teams and drive results.
·  Experience in hospitality, tourism, or a related industry, with a solid understanding of commercial strategy and revenue management.
·  A collaborative leadership style with a passion for coaching, mentoring, and building strong team culture.
·  Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with confidence engaging clients, partners, media, and team members alike.
·  Comfortable working with data, forecasting, and budgets, with the ability to turn insights into action.
·  Tech-savvy and confident using hotel and business systems, including Opera and Microsoft Office platforms.
·  A natural connector who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings energy, creativity, and curiosity to the role.
·  Previous experience in a Director of Sales & Marketing role is an asset.
