Job Description
Fairmont El San Juan Hotel Director of Restaurants directly manages the Restaurants, Pool/Beach, In-Room Dining to ensure the highest quality of standards are achieved, working closely with the Executive Chef on menu delivery, and Director of F&B to ensure day life, nightlife and restaurant/ bar operations are served at the highest level. Actively works on the floor working in the venues to drive guest service and product excellence. Conducts regular trainings and works with the staff to ensure Fairmont luxury service standards are met and staff/manager communication is provided thru the food and beverage division.
Qualifications
EDUCATION & SKILLS
· Four-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management or equivalent combination of education and professional experience is preferred but not required.
EXPERIENCE
· Three to five years’ nightlife experience selling venues is required .
· Hospitality experience required.
· Ability to communicate in English and Spanish, both orally and in writing, with guests and employees, tact, and diplomacy to defuse anger and to collect accurate information and to resolve problems.
