Job Description
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a passionate Demi Chef with experience in:
· Creative pastry production
· Ingredient preparation and high-quality execution of dishes for the larder and or hot sections.
· Mastering techniques such as butchery, purée crafting, sautéing, and tempura preparation.
· Inventory management and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen.
· Experience is Asian dining with at least 2 years minimum exposure
· Collaborate closely with the culinary team to develop new culinary concepts and menu items.
· Cook well in a team while pre-empting the needs of customers and your co-workers
· Uphold the highest levels of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety practices.
· Engage in ongoing learning to refine your skills and stay up-to-date with culinary trends.
Qualifications
Your Background:
· Proven track record in kitchens specializing in global cuisines like Korean fusion and Japanese traditions.
· Experience in handling large volumes (e.g., buffet setups for 100+ guests).
· A flair for innovation, and trying new concepts within a kitchen environment
· Strong focus on food safety, quality, and presentation standards.
· Experience in making Korean Desserts
· Must be able to work in a rotating roster (Must be able to work on the weekends)
· Experience in hotels

The pay rate for this role is $29.11 with a minimum of 32 hours guaranteed full-time contract
