Job Description

The Commis Chef will support the other Chefs as assigned in all areas of the Kitchen.

·  Prepare, season, and cook food as directed, meeting special dietary instructions as required.
·  Follow recipes and presentation specifications.
·  Provide direction to lower levelled Commis Chefs as assigned.
·  Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
·  Clean and maintain assigned station and overall kitchen through practicing good safety and sanitation.
·  Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes.

Qualifications

·  Culinary degree and experience in a high volume kitchen environment
·  High attention to detail
·  Excellent communication skills
·  Valid food handler certificate
