Our 5-Star Luxury Beachside Resort is part of the  Accor Hotel Group , which hosts over  5,600 properties  worldwide. Our Resort boasts 150 luxuriously appointed bungalow style villas, an award-winning restaurant, conferencing facilities and a day spa, all located in one of the most beautiful locations in Western Australia. 

Situated overlooking the stunning turquoise waters of  Bunker Bay beach , our guests enjoy beach access and incredible restaurant views of the frolicking dolphins and migrating whales. We are the only Resort of our caliber in the South West region and are a highly sought after holiday destination and wedding / events venue.

Job Description

We are looking for someone with a friendly, customer focused attitude with the ability to provide service from the heart. Previous Commis Chef experience in a Resort / Hotel style environment is highly desirable, but no essential. Some of your duties will include:

·  Assist with ordering necessary food items according to business needs and demands
·  Work with and coordinate the Cooks in the preparation and production of food as required
·  Prepare mis-en place as required
·  Prepare and present menu items showing variety and flair, within the cost margins specified by the Resort.
·  Ensure strict stock rotation and minimum wastage, whereby you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining stock control procedures.

Qualifications

·  An ability to demonstrate your confident personality and a passion to learn and be challenged.
·  Strong understanding of modern food trends.
·  Trade qualified.
·  Full working rights in Australia (we are unable to provide sponsorship for this role).
·  Ability to secure your own transport and accommodation.
·  Willing to work a range of shifts as we are open 7 days per week for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Additional Information

This is a full time position, however you will be paid an hourly rate to ensure you are paid for every hour that you work, plus receive all of those juicy  penalty rates .
