Job Description

The Canteen Commis 2 is responsible for assisting in the preparation, cooking, and serving of food in the canteen. This role requires the staff to work under the guidance of chefs or senior kitchen staff, ensuring food hygiene standards are met and food quality is maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

·  Assisting in the preparation of ingredients and food for meals.
·  Cooking food according to the chef's instructions.
·  Helping with the arrangement and presentation of food when serving.
·  Ensuring that kitchen equipment and utensils are clean and organized.
·  Supporting cleaning duties in the kitchen and dining areas.
·  Properly storing and managing food supplies.
·  Assisting with other tasks as required by supervisors.

Qualifications

·  Experience in kitchen work, particularly in canteen or catering environments, is an advantage.
·  Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
·  Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
·  Good health and strong work ethic.
·  Willingness to work in shifts.
·  Preference for fluent communication in English and Vietnamese.
