Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Camera Control Room Technician to join our team in 6th of October City, Egypt. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining camera control systems for live broadcasts and recorded productions.
· Set up, operate, and maintain camera control units (CCUs) and related equipment
· Adjust and balance multiple cameras to ensure consistent image quality across all shots
· Monitor and adjust video signals, including color balance, exposure, and focus
· Collaborate with directors, producers, and camera operators to achieve desired visual outcomes
· Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in real-time during productions
· Perform regular maintenance and calibration of camera control equipment
· Stay updated on the latest broadcast technology and industry trends
· Assist in the implementation of new technologies and workflows
· Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance, and technical issues
Qualifications
· Associate's degree or higher in Broadcast Technology, Electronics, or related field
· 2-3 years of experience in a similar role or in broadcast television
· Proficiency in operating camera control systems and video production equipment
· Strong understanding of video signal processing and broadcast technology
· Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to solve technical problems quickly
· Familiarity with industry-standard broadcast equipment and software
· Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with production teams
· Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
· Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards
· Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, as required
· SBE Certification or other relevant technical certifications preferred
· Experience in live event production is a plus
