Join our team as a Busperson in our In Room Dining department at our prestigious hotel in İstanbul, Turkey. We're looking for a friendly and efficient individual to provide exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is nothing short of extraordinary.

·  Set up and clear dining tables in guest rooms, maintaining cleanliness and organization
·  Assist servers in delivering food and beverages to guest rooms promptly and courteously
·  Ensure proper handling and storage of dishes, glassware, and utensils
·  Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in work areas
·  Respond to guest requests and inquiries in a timely and professional manner
·  Collaborate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth service operations
·  Restock service stations, carts, and storage areas as needed
·  Assist with room service order preparation and presentation
·  Report any maintenance issues or guest concerns to the appropriate department
·  Adhere to all safety and hygiene protocols

Qualifications

·  High school diploma or equivalent
·  Food handling certification (may be required)
·  Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred
·  Strong communication skills with fluency in English; knowledge of Turkish is a plus
·  Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
·  Basic math skills for handling guest checks and payments
·  Knowledge of food service practices and etiquette
·  Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
·  Physical stamina to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods
·  Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
·  Customer-focused attitude with a friendly and supportive demeanor
·  Team player with the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse environment

Additional Information

·  Responsible for picking up and serving of food and beverage orders. Food & beverage must be served promptly to the guest once it is ready, so that it arrives at the patron’s table at the correct temperature.
·  Ensure all beverages and snacks are served according to the service standard.
·  Thank all patrons for patronizing the outlet upon their departure.
·  Learn to know individual patron’s names and should remember their preferences to extend a personalized service.
·  To provide courteous and professional service at all times.
·  To clear and tidy up tables after the departure of the patrons as quickly as possible. Clear all soiled plates, glasses, and silverwares to stewarding area.
·  To assist the station captain in his overall duties
·  Can be assigned to other section by the management team when the need arises.
·  Should always ensure that the mise en place on every side station is at par stock level.
·  To send operating equipment for cleaning or burnishing once a week.
·  To send linen for exchange (time stated by linen room), ensure that all linen are clean at all times and that the correct amount are being collected.
·  To clean and set up the coffee machine mise en place and ensure that sufficient stock is insufficient.
·  To relay any customer complaints to manager
·  To report for duty on time wearing clean & complete uniform at all times.
·  To maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times.
·   To attend daily briefing & training classes.
·  To ensure proper setting, clearing, cleanliness of, including sufficient food in the buffet spread ın case of buffet set ups
·  To carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned by management team
·  To maintain good working relationships with your own colleagues and all other departments.
