Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Beach Attendant to join our team at our beautiful beachfront property in Phu Quoc, Vietnam. As a Beach Attendant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have a safe, enjoyable, and memorable beach experience.

·  Welcome and assist guests with beach-related enquiries and requests
·  Set up and maintain beach areas, including loungers, umbrellas, and recreational equipment
·  Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the beach and surrounding areas
·  Monitor beach conditions and guest activities to maintain safety
·  Provide information about beach activities, local attractions, and hotel amenities
·  Assist with beach-related events and activities
·  Collaborate with other departments to deliver exceptional guest experiences
·  Respond promptly to guest needs and concerns
·  Enforce beach rules and regulations in a friendly and professional manner
·  Assist in implementing environmental conservation initiatives
·  Perform basic first aid and emergency procedures when necessary

Qualifications

·  High School graduate or equivalent
·  Fluency in English; knowledge of Vietnamese or other languages is advantageous
·  One to two years' experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in hospitality or tourism
·  Strong swimming skills and knowledge of beach safety practices
·  First aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
·  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
·  Friendly, outgoing personality with a passion for customer service
·  Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, outdoor environment
·  Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills
·  Flexible and adaptable to changing weather conditions and guest needs
·  Physical stamina to stand, walk, and perform outdoor tasks for extended periods
·  Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
·  Knowledge of local beach regulations and environmental concerns
·  Familiarity with Vietnamese culture and customs is beneficial
·  Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
