Job Description

What you’ll do

We are looking for a Bartender intern to be part of the team at SLS Barcelona. Under the guidance of the Head Bartender, you'll be a key player in crafting our awesome beverage lineup and making our place a total hit.

·  Create a fun and relaxed atmosphere where guests come to wind down and enjoy themselves.
·  To prepare and serve beverage orders according to recipes and service standards.
·  To be knowledgeable about bar products and cocktail recipes.
·  Make whatever the mood calls for, from soft drinks to masterful cocktails that change with the seasons.
·  To have a thorough understanding and knowledge of all beverage items and prepare garnishes for each cocktail accordingly.
·  To strictly adhere to opening and closing procedures established for the outlet and check beverage stock.
·  To monitor operating supplies and reduce spoilage and wastage.
·  Know your product & systems inside out.
·  To prepare mise‑en‑place and perform side duties.
·  Work with the rest of team in keeping things running smoothly and tidily, for both table and bar service.
