Cafe Java at Novotel Dubai Al Barsha is seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating exceptional coffee experiences for our guests while maintaining a clean and welcoming cafe environment.

·  Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, including espresso-based beverages, drip coffee, and specialty drinks
·  Greet customers warmly and take orders accurately
·  Operate and maintain espresso machines, coffee grinders, and other cafe equipment
·  Handle cash transactions and operate the Point of Sale (POS) system
·  Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards
·  Recommend and upsell coffee products and cafe menu items
·  Assist in inventory management and restocking supplies
·  Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth cafe operations and excellent customer service
·  Stay updated on coffee trends and share product knowledge with customers

Qualifications

·  High school diploma or equivalent
·  Previous experience as a barista preferred
·  Strong knowledge of coffee types, brewing methods, and cafe operations
·  Proficiency in operating espresso machines and other cafe equipment
·  Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality
·  Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
·  Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
·  Basic math skills and cash handling experience
·  Food handling certification preferred
·  Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
·  Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
·  Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus
