Job Description

At Rixos Phu Quoc , great coffee is part of the guest experience — from the first morning cup to the afternoon pick-me-up. We are looking for a Barista who is service-minded, detail-oriented, and takes pride in delivering consistently good coffee with a friendly smile.

What you’ll be doing

· 
Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and specialty beverages in line with hotel standards.

· 
Operate espresso machines, grinders, and related equipment correctly and safely.

· 
Ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation of all beverages.

· 
Take guest orders accurately and deliver friendly, efficient service.

· 
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station and equipment at all times.

· 
Prepare mise en place for daily operations.

· 
Follow opening and closing procedures for the outlet.

· 
Monitor stock levels and report low supplies when required.

· 
Handle basic cashiering duties in accordance with outlet procedures.

· 
Adhere to hygiene, health & safety, and food safety standards.

· 
Support other outlets or banqueting operations when required.

· 
Attend training sessions and team meetings as scheduled.

Qualifications

· 
1 year experience as a Barista in a restaurant, hotel, or resort preferred.

· 
Basic knowledge of coffee preparation , including espresso-based drinks and brewed coffee.

· 
Willingness to learn hotel service standards and beverage recipes.

· 
Friendly, polite, and professional approach to guest service.

· 
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

· 
Good understanding of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety practices.

· 
Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
