Job Description

We are seeking a talented and passionate Bakery Chef to join our team in 6th of October City, Egypt. As a Bakery Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious baked goods, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and food safety.

·  Develop and execute a diverse menu of baked goods, including breads, pastries, and desserts
·  Oversee daily bakery operations, including production scheduling and inventory management
·  Train and supervise bakery staff, ensuring adherence to recipes and quality standards
·  Implement and maintain food safety and hygiene practices in compliance with local regulations
·  Collaborate with the culinary team to create seasonal and specialty items
·  Monitor and control food costs while maintaining product quality
·  Stay current with baking trends and techniques to innovate and improve offerings
·  Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients and finished products
·  Participate in menu planning and recipe development
·  Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications

·  Culinary degree or diploma in baking and pastry arts
·  Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a professional bakery or restaurant setting
·  Proven expertise in various baking techniques and methods
·  Strong skills in recipe development and modification
·  Thorough understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
·  Excellent time management and organizational skills
·  Demonstrated leadership abilities and team management experience
·  Creativity and passion for culinary arts, especially baking
·  Knowledge of Egyptian and international baking traditions
·  Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
·  Valid food safety certification
·  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
·  Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
·  Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
