Job Description
· The Asst. Bar Manager is responsible for assisting the Bar Manager supervising the day to day smooth operations of Edge Pool Bar, The Junction bar and outlet bar pantry.
· To focus on achieving bar profitability through revenue generation, monitor cost controls, directly implement brand standard, and achieve guest satisfaction targets and team member satisfaction goals.
· In addition, he/she is responsible for training of Mixologist or bartenders, developing trendy cocktails, analyzing business growth and making recommendations to Bar Manager.
· Supervises the functioning of entire operation of the Pool Bar, lounge & outlet bar pantry.
· To ensure guests issues are look after, brand standard audits are in place, consistent maintenance of bar facilities, equipment are working well and clean, sales and costs are monitored and to ensure maximum departmental profit is achieved
· Coordinates and supervises the preparation, presentation and service of food products to ensure the highest quality at all times
· To ensure that all promotional materials are clean, well presented and ready before operation.
· Ensuring the Bar and fridges are clean, organize and in good condition either slow or busy season.
· Proper par stock and FIFO policy is implemented all the time.
· Implements a daily, weekly and monthly checklist for the entire bar/ restaurants and ensures proper follow-up to attain maximum quality and efficiency.
Qualifications
· Minimum of 2 years of BAR management experience, preferably in the luxury setting lifestyle resort & stand-alone BAR.
· Strong oral and written communication skills
· Ability to train and develop team members
· Ability to work effectively in a team environment and take initiative
· Excellent organizational skills
