Job Description

Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, we are currently seeking an Associate Director of Sales to join our dynamic team within the city’s largest premium conference luxury hotel.  This role is suitable for an experienced sales professional who enjoys working across different market segments.

     What is the role all about:

·  Respond to client enquiries to determine meeting and event needs
·  Prepare quotations for conference and events proposals covering venue, function, menu and accommodation costs ensuring revenue is maximized
·  Drive sales strategy to ensure conversion targets are achieved 
·  Proactively source new businesses
·  Lead and develop the Conference & Events team
·  Liaise with the entire operations team to ensure high quality, impeccable service and experience is provided

Qualifications

·  Extensive sales experience including outbound calling and meeting established KPIs
·  Advanced knowledge of OPERA Cloud, & Delphi
·  A genuine passion and motivation for the hospitality industry.
·  Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills with a positive, “can do” attitude
·  Impeccable communication skills with a variety of stakeholders
·  An ability to stay calm under pressure
·  Ability to coach, mentor & develop your team to achieve the collective goal
