Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Assistant Stewarding Manager to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Stewarding Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the stewarding department, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organization in our establishment.

·  Assist in managing and coordinating the stewarding team's daily activities and schedules
·  Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and sanitary environment
·  Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and equipment as needed
·  Conduct regular inspections of kitchen areas, storage facilities, and equipment to maintain cleanliness and functionality
·  Train and mentor stewarding staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and company policies
·  Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and excellent guest experiences
·  Assist in developing and implementing cost-effective strategies to optimize resource utilization
·  Respond promptly to any issues or emergencies related to stewarding operations
·  Participate in the recruitment, performance evaluation, and professional development of stewarding staff
·  Maintain accurate records and prepare reports as required by management

Qualifications

·  Minimum 3-5 years of experience in stewarding or related hospitality roles
·  Previous supervisory or management experience in a hotel or restaurant setting
·  Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field (preferred)
·  Food Safety Certification (e.g., ServSafe)
·  Strong organizational and time management skills
·  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
·  Proficiency in inventory management systems
·  In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations
·  Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities
·  Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
·  Fluency in English; Arabic language skills preferred
·  Thorough understanding of hospitality industry standards and best practices
·  Expertise in cleaning and sanitation procedures
·  Proficiency in inventory control and cost management techniques
·  Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
·  Physical stamina to perform tasks that may involve lifting, standing for extended periods, and moving around the facility
