Job Description

Fairmont El San Juan Hotel Assistant Manager Recreation Pools and Beach directly managing the Beach, Pools, Guest Outdoor Sports Recreation Activities and concessionaires to the Beach/ Pool operations.  This position ensures the highest quality of standards are achieved, working closely with the Beach Club & Pool Bar Managers, Director of F&B, Director of Housekeeping and Engineering and reporting to the Director of Recreation Pool & Beach.  Actively works on the floor working in the Outdoor Pool & Beach experience is at the highest level in guest service and product excellence.  Conducts regular trainings and works with the staff to ensure Fairmont luxury service standards are met and staff/manager communication is provided through the food and beverage division.

Qualifications

EDUCATION & SKILLS

·  Four-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management or equivalent combination of education and professional experience is preferred but not required.

 

EXPERIENCE

·  Hospitality experience required.
·  Ability to communicate in English and Spanish, both orally and in writing, with guests and employees, tact, and diplomacy to defuse anger and to collect accurate information and to resolve problems.
