Job Description
Assistant Director of Sales
This position reports to the Director of Sales. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Doha market and/or the Middle East region, coupled with a proven track record in hotel sales, account management, and business development. This role presents an exciting opportunity for a results-oriented professional to contribute to the success and expansion of our luxury resort in a dynamic and competitive market.
· Collaborate with the Director of Sales to develop and execute sales strategies targeting corporate, leisure, MICE, and government sectors.
· Utilize in-depth market knowledge to identify new business opportunities and enhance the resort's presence in the Doha and regional markets.
· Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key clients, travel agents, corporate accounts, and local businesses to maximize revenue potential.
· Assist in training, motivating, and developing the sales team to ensure alignment with business goals and sales targets.
· Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to adjust sales strategies and optimize revenue generation.
· Provide regular and detailed sales reports, performance analysis, and forecasting to support decision-making and business planning.
· Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure effective brand positioning through targeted campaigns and promotions.
· Represent the resort at trade shows, conferences, and industry events, promoting the brand and generating valuable business leads.
