This position will be based Türkiye or METAP & CIS countries in the Established Pharmaceuticals Division that we are committed to bringing the benefits of our trusted medicines to more people in the world’s fastest-growing countries. Our broad portfolio of high-quality and differentiated branded generic medicines reaches across multiple therapeutic areas including gastroenterology, women's health, cardiometabolic, pain management/central nervous system, and respiratory.
As the Regional Marketing Manager METAP & CIS you will be reporting to Marketing Director METAP & CIS, work closely with the affiliate marketing teams and partner with the global EPD marketing team.
What You’ll Do
Scope of the Role
· To review and support the METAP & CIS region’s strategic business plans for the group of products (Brands, BGX, Gx and OTC/OTx) and to support METAP & CIS region’s sales and share growth for the group of products with a focus on current as well as the product portfolio of new launches.
· Provide support to affiliate to assure the commercial success of assigned brands/TA
· Ensure METAP & CIS EPD builds and enhances a Marketing led mindset with insights, patients and customers at the core of everything delivered.
· Develop project and marketing plans supporting new product introductions from both internal and external resources.
· Success in the role will take into account the delivery of sales against Plan numbers, utilisation of the promotional support budget and improved market share of brands across TAs.
Core Job Responsibilities:
· Design, manage, and support marketing insights-driven brand plans for METAP & CIS EPD with the involvement as appropriate of all key stakeholders. The plans should identify future trends and address all key issues, CSFs, and execution steps.
· Work cross-functionally across METAP & CIS in executing the annual and long-term marketing plan.
· Ensure Affiliate Marketing plans are reviewed, challenged, and executed well.
· Design, plan and organize execution of key regional marketing programs for the brands and TAs of accountability.
· Create mechanisms to monitor and assess the execution of marketing programs. Adapt plans and tactics accordingly.
· Leverage market insight and market research programs for key brands to answer key questions posed by the brand to deliver on unmet needs.
· Ensure capability building across the region in launching new BGx and marketing BGx
· Collaborate with the sales team and reinforce portfolio selling and category management.
· Reinforce best practices sharing across affiliates.
· Represent METAP & CIS in Divisional/Global Marketing forums.
Accountability
· Sales plan of the brands and or TA being managed
· Grow market share of the brands/TA
· Timely execution of the strategic brand plans for the key regional products/affiliates (portfolio, sales forecast, positioning, messaging, budget, and resource allocation)
· Drive and timely execute regional marketing programs such as congresses, KOL interactions and others to realize the business objectives and LRP
· Understand the local market reality/needs, challenge, and support METAP affiliates on their local strategy, tactics, and implementation plans
· Monitor the evolution of the environment and assess its potential future impact on the business model and forecast
· Identify unmet market needs for the assigned group of brands/TA in the portfolio
· Co-lead in collaboration with the Launch Excellence Manager, the NPIs for the respective Tas
· Create a working environment in which all internal stakeholders share common objectives and are motivated to excel in execution
· Promote innovation and continuous improvement within marketing
· Participate in the selection, rotation, and promotion process of affiliate marketing team members
· Define, propose, and implement objectives, policies, procedures, and best practices
· Support the definition of objectives for, supervise, motivate, coach, and evaluate (PEx) the members of the affiliate marketing team members
Required Qualifications
· Business degree with MBA strongly preferred
· +8 years of pharmaceutical marketing experience
· Regional experience is an asset
· Local experience in METAP & CIS with preferably at least 1 year experience in sales on top of marketing
· Knowledge of METAP & CIS pharmaceutical market
· Experience in respiratory, CNS and vaccine TA is a plus
· Fluency in English
· Willing to travel approx. 30%
