Key tasks
Ibis Tainui Hamilton is currently recruiting for a Full-Time Night Manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Have sole responsibility and in charge of the hotel overnight operation (11pm-7.30am)
-Ensuring safety and security of guests and staff
-Auditing income and revenue reports
-Managing and resolving guest complaints
-Liaising with all departments to ensure effective running of day to day tasks
-Ensuring all policies and procedures are adhered to
-Department cost control such as wages
-Ensuring effective interface between Management, Duty Managers, Reception & Porters

Desired profile
Skills
Level of Education Bachelor / Licence
Areas of study Hospitality Management
Professional experiences 1 to 2 years
Languages essential English (Primary tongue)
Essential and optional requirements
-Availability over a 7 day basis
-LCQ Certificate & current GM Certificate
-A full and current NZ Drivers License with the ability to drive both Manual and Automatic cars
-Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel environment
-An ability to make sound decisions independently
-An approachable and professional manner
-Strong written and verbal communication and computer skills
-Reliable and punctual is a must !
-A desire to exceed guest expectations and go the extra mile
-Current eligibility to work in NZ
-Previous experience with Opera and Micros Property Management Systems would be an advantage
