Job Description

The Hotel Chadstone Melbourne MGallery is looking for an experienced Assistant Financial Controller to join our team. You will be responsible for:

·  Assisting the Director of Finance to lead the day to day operations of the Finance department
·  Overseeing Accounts Payable, Receivables and Payroll
·  Assisting with compiling annual budgets and monthly forecasting
·  Ensuring timely and accurate weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports
·  Engaging with department managers to develop effective measures to enhance the department’s profitability

Qualifications

·  Previous experience in a similar role
·  Tertiary qualification in Accounting 
·  Highly organised and able to manage priorities in order to meet deadlines
·  Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
·  Ability to problem solve and coach other departments to the desired outcomes
·  Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills
