The Engineered Materials facility in Newport, WA is recruting for a Winder/Kitter for the WeekdayPM shift . The schedule is 4:00pm – 4:00am Tuesday– Thursday, then Monday– Thursdaythe following week. The Winder Operator is responsible for manufacturing graphite skins that are used as structural components in various applications for the aircraft industry. Tasks will include, but are not limited to: verifying and withdrawing materials, operating the winder machine, determining sheet thickness, changing blades as necessary, completing production paperwork, stacking sheets and prepare sheets for shipping as needed. Basic housekeeping duties on equipment and within the department will be required. Will be required to cross train in other work areas or departments. Forklift operation is required for this position.

• Must have 1 – 2 years relevant, steady work history.
• Must be highly motivated, and must be able to work independently and complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Must have good basic math skills
• Will be required to effectively, safely operate a forklift.
• Must be able to read and communicate in English
• Must have legible handwriting/printing
• Must have the ability to balance multiple tasks/priorities
• Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
