OCCUPATIONAL SUMMARY:

Work with various departments to pull together information to create and revise Service Bulletins for customers. Use Engineering blueprints to create and revise customer Component Maintenance Manuals and other related manuals.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Work with multiple programs and departments, to create and revise accurate, detailed Service Bulletins in a timely and efficient manner. These documents include, but are not limited to, instructions, tables, necessary drawings and figures.
· Create and revise Component Maintenance Manuals. These documents include, but are not limited to, part numbers, tables, LOPAs, instructions and graphics.
· Work within tight schedules to complete documentation in a timely and thorough manner.
· Perform other related duties as assigned.
· Provide technical support to customers, as required.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :

Knowledge and Skills:

1. Must have working knowledge of blueprints.

2. Knowledge of Zodiac Seats products preferred.
3. Understanding of ATA Spec 2200 preferred.

4. Proficiency in at least 2 of the following programs:

· Proficiency in at least two of the following programs:
· Arbortext
· Framemaker
· Graphic software, such as IsoDraw, Corel
· QuickSilver Interleaf

5. Strong familiarity with manufacturing and/or assembly.

B. Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in related area or equivalent experience (6 years related) highly recommended. Minimum two years experience in technical writing desirable.
