Job description



Duties and Responsibilities (essential functions):

A) Assists the Programs Quality team with defect data entry, analysis and determination of appropriate quality projects per seat model and OEM.
B) Develops procedures and standardizes activities for Product Quality Leaders applicable to each program development toll gate.
C) Facilitates training and coordinates activities for Programs Quality Leaders.
D) Fills out and updates Program Standard Reporting Deck.
E) Maintains an overall planning schedule for all Quality Activities related to the customer FAI process.
F) Leads process standardization and improvements to the Customer Show First Article Inspection.
G) Improves reporting format and documentation of FAI Meeting Minutes to ensure pickups and dispositions are clearly understood during series production run and seat delivery process.
H) Supports Quality activities for HoV programs and QRQC support on product development areas.
I) Creates and maintains Quality Standards and Work Instructions (PQS, MP, WI, etc.) to insure requirements are understood from the RFQ through seat delivery process.
J) Reports overall monthly progress updates on the assigned areas to ensure activities and projects are on track.
K) Supports corrective action investigations utilizing root cause and corrective action quality tools.
L) Supports quality process improvement projects as required.
M) Assist Quality Management team with projects and tasks as assigned.
N) Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements:

Knowledge and Skills:

Basic understanding of root cause corrective action tools.
Candidate must have the ability to effectively interact professionally with customers.
Work independently with high level of confidentiality, professional standards and ethics.
Must possess grammar and communication skills with the ability to work under pressure, set priorities, handle confidential and sensitive company matters and meet critical deadlines.
Understanding of the WBS map and processes from marketing hand off to delivery.

Education and Experience:

Associates degree or 3 years of on-the-job experience in one or more areas of Quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
