Job Summary: The Material Planner is responsible for overseeing all the planning activities to assure successful delivery of the product. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, maintain a Bill of Materials (BOM) and other information in an MRP System. The Material Planner will analyze Engineering Drawings, Specifications, and maintaining inventory levels needed to support producing products to meet Customer requirements. This function must be done in a cost efficient and timely manner while keeping Inventory costs at a minimum.

Summary of Duties:

· Ensure work order accuracy to ensure all operations stated on engineering drawing are represented on work order
· Status Program Manager/Material Manager on any planning issues
· Analyze Engineering Documents and generate Bills of Materials accordingly
· Plan all Materials on dock and Kit due dates
· Ensure that requirements are given to Purchasing on time
· Release & order Work Orders for in house fabrication and Assembly of parts
· Maintain Inventory Levels to meet company Goals
· Approve and analyze drawings in CCB
· Maintain Engineering Revision control
· Generate work order instructions in conjunction with Production & Quality processes
· Ensure accuracy of all data in the company ERP system

Qualifications:

·
Education: High School diploma required. BA in Supply Change Management or equivalent is preferred.

·
1-5 years of experience

·
Familiarity with Windows Operating System®, Microsoft Office Suites® and experience with an MRP system (Royal IV), or ability to learn MRP system

·
Ability to read engineering blue prints is preferred, good organizational skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Does require fluent communication in English

Physical Demands and Working Environment:

· Standing, sitting and walking throughout the workday
· Possible skin and inhaled contact with various sealants, paints, adhesives or other chemicals
· Proper PPE is defined and required for specific work area
· Industry standard safety equipment is provided by the company and specific notice is posted in areas where safety equipment is required
