Safran Cabin is the world’s leading supplier of cabin interiors for regional, narrow and wide-body, business and military aircraft.
The company's product range includes integrated cabin interiors, overhead bins, galleys, lavatories, crew rests and cargo containers.

The Flammability Test Technician 1 is responsible for maintaining and calibrating the test equipment in the flammability test laboratory. They will conduct flammability tests on a variety of materials, and report on the results of tests. This job reports to the Flammability Lab Supervisor.

Summary of Duties:

· Ready specimens for test.
· Calibrate test equipment.
· Conducts heat release, smoke density, toxicity and Bunsen Burner Tests.
· Accurately records and reports data.
· Enter test report data in to the flammability database.
· Clean and maintain test equipment and laboratory on a regular basis.

Qualifications:

Education: High School diploma required. Associates degree preferred.

Experience: 1-3 years in a testing environment preferred.

Computer Skill: MS Office Suiteâ, MS Windowsâ.
