The Business Analyst supports users and managements by engaging in data analysis and translation of a diverse environment of information into reporting and actionable recommendations that will enable the company to achieve its strategic objectives. Using business acumen and advanced analytical tools, this person will design solutions that will improve business unit performance, provide analytical support and guidance, and determine the best approach for business and reporting needs.

Duties:

Business Requirements

· Works with Business Analysts/Key users to understand End-users needs.

Develop and Implement

· Collects, analyzes, and shares data to help business teams drive improvement in key business metrics, user experience, and business results.
· Utilizes database and SQL server technologies to develop and evaluate innovative business intelligence tools and automated reports.
· Develops and tests BI solutions such as databases, queries, views, reports, and dashboards.
· Assists in data conversions, imports, and exports of data within and between internal and external software systems.
· Documents new and existing models, solutions, and implementations.
· Design and build reporting and analysis tools that help streamline the business and make reporting, analyzing, planning, and forecasting more efficient.
· Lead ERP improvement workshop
· Supports and assists with the integration of BI platforms with enterprise systems and applications.

Customer Service

· Keeps user informed about business intelligence tool problems and resolutions.
· Tracks and reports out on issues and enhancement request for the business in a timely manner.

Research/Evaluation:

· Analyzes and tests new releases/versions of software.
· May participate in system/software evaluations.

Project/Work Planning:

· Participates in and support IS project for the BI environment.

Training

· Train users in the use of the business intelligence tools to enhance business decision-making capability.

Your Key Qualifications

· 3+ years experiences in a business/systems analysis role
· Previous experience in business/operations processes including defining strategy, establishing and operating working practices, and an ability to articulate business benefit and collaborate across all levels of the organization
· Aptitude for technology combined with business acumen
· Strong conceptual and process-focused thinking abilities
· Collaborative, flexible, open working style and an ability to establish trust and credibility quickly
· Skilled in communications and creating dashboards, reports and presentations that are easy to understand and relevant to business stakeholders
· Foundational knowledge of master data elements
· Strong documentation skills such as use cases, process flow/swim lane diagrams.
· Strong Supply-chain/planning knowledge
· Experience with business analytic tools, ERPs and WMS platforms
· Experience with a BI tool, like SQL server Or other BI tool
· Experience with SQL Queries
· A master at Excel
· BA/BS in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Statistics or related field of study
