Safran Cabin is the world’s leading supplier of cabin interiors for regional, narrow and wide-body, business and military aircraft.
The company's product range includes integrated cabin interiors, overhead bins, galleys, lavatories, crew rests and cargo containers.

We are currently looking for a Design Engineer Intern who will check new and existing designs of aircraft interior products ranging from but not limited to: bins, galleys, lavatories, ceiling panels or seats used in commercial and private aircrafts.

Summary of Duties:

· Produce ECNs (Engineering Change Notice) as required to support engineering, manufacturing, customer requests, quality and certification.
· Identify design problems and work with Design Engineers to seek solutions.
· Work with design leads to analyze and solve both prototype and production problems.
· Produce KPI Reports for engineering management to track performance.
· Assist design department to develop training material and support the curriculum
· Requires little to no experience in discipline
· Conducts routine tasks as directed
· Closely supervised with little latitude for independent judgment

Qualifications:

Education: 2-3 years of completed college coursework in the fields of Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering

Experience: Internship

Computer Skills:

· MS Office Suiteâ, MS Windowsâ, SolidWorksâ a plus, Catia V5 a plus

Other Skills:

· Effective oral and written communications skills
· Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and assignments with attention to detail
· Problem solving, well organized, detailed oriented and accurate.
