Job description
Programming intern required to work as part of a friendly team on a number of mini-projects including adding some small new features to our existing systems and to fix a number of bugs in our legacy PHP systems. This is an opportunity for university students and graduates to gain relevant experience working with programming languages and applications such as PHP, SQL, HTML, CSS and Javascript. You need to be willing to muck in with technical support, although this isn't the main focus of the role.
The position would work well as a full time internship/placement or fit in well alongside your studies (ideally working a minimum of 16 hours a week during office hours). Varying contract length possible. There is a good possibility of a further, long-term contract if desired.

Desired profile
Minimum Application Requirement
*Skill set: PHP | SQL | HTML | CSS | JavaScript | GIT
*GCSE Maths grade B + GCSE English grade B
*Completed or currently studying for a Computing/Programming-related degree or equivalent
*Some experience demonstrating PHP coding ability
Additional Desirable Attributes
*Paid experience
*Experience with CodeIgnitor, React, Docker
*Strong communication skills
*A Level grade A or B in Computing or a scientific/technical subject such as Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Economics or Latin
*Notable experience, or some paid experience with qualifications demonstrating coding ability
