Job Title Application Engineer, Software
Business Unit GEE – Engineering – Electronics
Job Description 1. Passive Safety ECU software design responsibility to Japanese OEMs in TRW global engineering team, Design and deliver ECU/software locally with working with global team in English and discuss with customer in Japanese2. Software module/code package development and release3. Software Engineer customer interface in a global engineering team environment.4. Manage all software related issues and action items closure in a timely manner with following development schedule which is driven by customer project team . Manage customer input and output to meet customer expectation.5. Clarify and understand product requirements and drive global team to right direction.6. Develop software design review materials (Change points, DRBFM, software code comparison, design architecture, verification report) and get customer approval.
Education Requirements •Bachelors Degree in
Engineering, Science or computer science required; or higher
•5-10 years of experience in engineering in electronics product development
Experience and Skill Requirements 1. More than 5 years work experience of ECU software design (Automotive industry preferred, not MUST)
- Software Design (Embedded programming system)…C language, C++, Application script language such as Perl, CAPL
2. Logical manner communication skill in Japanese and English as well. Capture what the customer expects and break down into specific actions (Customer communication interface experience preferred)
3. Japanese/English oral and technical writing skills in communication
4. Work experience with overseas coworker/customer in multiple cultures
