About Us

Zeno Limited is a specialist independent provider of innovative and dynamic services for adults with a learning disability and associated developmental impairments in the South Manchester area. We take a complete life approach, from supporting young people in their family home through to supporting adults of all ages within the community. We support people across the whole spectrum of developmental impairments, including the autistic spectrum and associated mental health impairments.

Job Role / Activities

We specialise in supporting people to take part in community therapeutic activities such as hiking in the Peak District, rock climbing, horse riding, cycling, swimming and boating. We also provide support for people to take control and have more choice in their lives and to learn how to prepare meals, use a washing machine, manage their own finances and look after their home. We can offer support to a person in their family home/own home or within one of our 24 hour supported living services. You may be required to provide personal care for male and female supported people.

Driving Status

Due to our focus on activities it will be advantageous if you hold a full driving licence, as activities in the community form the central ethos of the company and we therefore require a high percentage of support workers to be drivers. You do not require your own vehicle whilst at work but you must satisfy the terms of our motor insurance to drive our vehicles. You will be required to drive larger vehicles.

Our support workers need to have a good level of fitness to assist our supported people whilst on these activities. The job involves a good level of physical activity on a daily basis.

As there is a lot of communication and paperwork for the people we support required on a daily basis all applicants will require good written communication skills.
