We are searching for a new team member, who will work on various projects regarding software asset and license management. Since we are still a young team, you have the possibility to leave your footprint behind and play a part in defining our team vision, strategy and processes, ensuring Zalando's ongoing performance and sustainability.

 

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

· 
You have an apprenticeship as an IT businessman and over 2 years of relevant work experience and/or a university degree in informatics, economics, or similar fields

· 
You have profound knowledge of supply market assessments, demand management and/or asset management

· 
You are keen on taking on responsibility and are used to working on projects autonomously and systematically

· 
You are very passionate about the newest technology and enjoy working closely with vendors

· 
You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, in English (German would be a plus)

 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

· 
Be the single point of contact for our Technology teams and software manufacturers regarding software licensing topics

· 
Develop, implement and optimize processes within our software asset management department

· 
Regularly review license data within our license management system to ensure that we have an optimized and compliant usage of our 3rd party softwares

· 
Analyse and identify potential optimization of software licenses, contract frameworks and contract maintenance as well as be involved in license negotiations

· 
Take care of audits, coordinate the rollout of each software in close cooperation with our Technology department and support team leads in managing and improving budget planning and cost controlling
