Quality Assurance Manager/ Quality Control Supervisor Europe & Turkey - Apparel and Lingerie (m/f)

Job description

As the Quality Assurance Manager/ QC Supervisor you are the responsible contact person for our quality assurance in our manufacturing region in Europe and Turkey. Established within the Quality Management in Berlin, this is where the manufacturing bases are controlled and products are rated. We are looking for you to join our team as Quality Assurance Manager for apparel and lingerie.

YOUR CHALLENGE

· You'll supervise the planning and implementation of all quality examinations in every country of production in Europe and Turkey
· You'll verify the results of our testing based upon the documents and samples given to you
· You'll establish the seasonal planning are responsible for this
· You'll are the professional / technical contact person for external partners, suppliers and our own quality management team and decide about applicable arrangements
· You'll convoy the of composition of quality management in Europe and Turkey, are responsible for trainings of local employees and implement new tasks in existing processes
· You'll supervise, manage and check third provider regarding costs and professional expertise
· You'll communicate with European suppliers and visit factories regularly
· You are responsible for the implementation and correctness of quality standards for the testing process and develop those continuously
· You'll evaluate the seasonal performance of our suppliers and third parties
· You are a professional contact person for requests from product management, quality management, controlling, ethical trade, product safety and logistics
· You'll work together with the Senior Managers in dynamic risk management, development and tracking of quality relevant figures
· You'll support our Senior Managers and line managers in projects and support them in creating and developing of instructions and guide lines

WHAT YOU'VE GOT

· You're proud of a technical apprenticeship or an university degree in Clothing Technology or comparable qualification
· You've already gained 2-6 years professional experience in Textile fields, preferably international experience or in a comparable position
· You're flexible, resilient and you think in conceptual ways
· You're a team player, always looking for solutions and see problems as a challenge to solve
· You have an intercultural understanding and like to travel
· You have a very strong comprehension for processes in a production business
· You are structured, pragmatic and work very accurately, fast and thoroughly
· You're proud of strong and business fluent English skills, additional languages are a plus
· You have a strong routine in working with MS Office and have a real interest in working with different databases and like to work with numbers
