Our marketing professionals use all available online channels: we have experts in SEA and SEO as well as Social Media, Affiliate, Display, and Email Marketing. In the more traditional channels, we produce the popular TV adverts, Zalando fashion magazines, and catalogues. We aim to innovate in marketing, design, graphics and photography and to create something new, and unique – the Zalando shopping experience. 

  Your Challenge

·  You will take responsibility for the budgeting and controlling of the yearly, monthly and weekly performance marketing activities
·  Your insightful data deep-dives will build the foundation for marketing strategies across all sales channels (incl. SEA, Performance Display, Affiliate, SEO and Giftcards
·  You will be responsible for the regular reporting of sales performance to management and other key stakeholders
·  You will support the operational activities of channels through ad-hoc analyses and provide recommendations
·  You’ll be a competent sparring partner for your regional marketing manager, central pricing and planning functions and the individual performance marketing channels in a cross-functional environment
·  You’ll have the opportunity to work on engaging and varied marketing projects aimed at bringing clear benefits to either sales channels or the local marketing team

What You've Got

·  Ideally, you are able communicate proficiently in both written and spoken English and Dutch
·  You have successfully completed your studies in business administration, marketing, economics or another analytical field (e.g. mathematics, econometrics, etc.)
·  You’ve already gained work experience, ideally in the field of marketing/business controlling or analytics and are comfortable working in a data-driven environment
·  You are proficient in MS Office and possess advanced MS Excel skills (vLookup, index / match, Pivot Tables, etc. are familiar to you). Experience in programming languages such as Python, R or VBA is considered a major plus
·  You are familiar with the concepts of online performance marketing and CRM and the KPIs associated with them
·  You are self-driven, independent and able to organize and multi-task efficiently in a fast-paced environment
