INTERNSHIP (m/f) BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Job description

Zalando Gift Cards are the perfect gift for friends, family or for any corporate incentive like marketing promotions or employee rewarding. We are a cross-functional unit, integrated in the Performance Marketing department, which executes global gift card marketing and sales strategy across Europe. Our goal is to provide our end consumers with a perfect gifting experience and to build up long lasting cooperation with our corporate customers across Europe.

your challenge

· As an intern, you'll be part of our success story, getting to know its exciting e-commerce dynamics from the bottom up
· You will work in the cooperation marketing team and support the daily execution on different projects such as partner's support or development of Gift Cards marketing activities
· In supporting your department, you will be involved in the development of operational processes and projects that will impact positively the development of the unit and sales
· Supporting the Gift Card account managers in their daily business (acquiring new clients, setting up new marketing campaigns..) will also be one of your tasks

· You will align with teams across the company (accounting, sales, operations, legal..) to support sales

What you've got

· Currently you are undertaking Business Management or Marketing studies
· You work results and detail oriented, proactive and independent
· MS Office is part of your daily routine and you work especially with Excel routinely
· Clear communication is one of your strengths and it really helps you to optimise internal processes and collaboration in your projects
· Your written and oral English and German skills are fluent and impressive (speaking other European language is a big plus).
· Ideally you are familiar with sales or partners management
