Intern (m/f) Business Intelligence

Job description

 As an intern, you will be peeking behind the scenes of the business intelligence department of an international e-commerce company and getting to know its exciting daily business from the bottom up
· You take up requirements for reports and discuss them with the respective department
· Based on operation, sales and marketing data, you create complex analyses
· You help implementing and developing the onsite tracking systems
· In supporting your team, you create analyses and recurring reports based on the collected onsite data

· Within your team, you support the management in their decisions with useful analyses
· You help to better understand the customer journey across different devices

What you've got

· Currently, you are studying economics, statistics, mathematics or are a student in a similar subject and preferable have some experience with Web/Business Intelligence
· You are interested in data analysis, ecommerce and internet topics; knowledge of web technologies like Java Script, HTML or CSS is a plus
· Juggling numbers, capturing the essence of analytical processes and clearly communicating them are a walk in the park for you
· You are good with Excel and ideally you've also got experience with VBA and data bases like SQL
· As part of an international team, you know English back to front, German is a plus
· You are a highly motivated candidate that is willing to learn
· A fulltime internship for 5-6 months from 15.02.2016
