In this exciting project we are offering you the opportunity to work on aninnovativeproject in the realm of last mile delivery logistics. You will work together with a small but dynamic, agile and interdisciplinary team with colleagues from the Zalando Innovation Business Development and the Logistics Platform Services Team and our external partner.

Your challenges

·  You will have the possibility to work on innovative logistics concepts and services that will boost and re-define e-commerce in Germany, and therefore will pursue innovative strategies for Zalando in order to grow our customer base
·  You will be part of the preparation phase, the execution phase of the test pilot, and ideally during the recap phase
·  You will act as an important intermediate between our team here at Zalando and our external partner. Here you will work closely together with everyone involved in the project
·  You will play an important part in making sure that we have a flawless‘to-our-customer’delivery process and are involved in error analysis and correction

Desired profile

Your profile

·  You are a student currently enrolled in an university, ideally taking courses in supply chain management, logistics, (industrial) engineering
·  Ideally you have gained experience in the field of process optimization or supply chain management and you've already gained first logistics knowhow
·  You are an experienced user of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel, google docs is no problem for you!
·  You distinguish yourself as a goal oriented person with a highly analytical and organized  working manner plus you have a hands-on working style
·  You are proactive and react easily and quickly to changes
·  You work independently and have a precise working method
·  Your experience in service and a strong focus on customer/stakeholder satisfaction is a big plus
·  You are fluent in both German and English
·  You are available 40 hours per week (working time 10:30 - 19:00) for 3 - 4 months
·  You can start ASAP!
