Our e-Commerce trainee program will allow you to dive deep into all aspects of the value chain of a leading e-Commerce Business. To give you a comprehensive overview of all processes you will work within the departments that are responsible for our markets activities of the 15 countries we work in. In Sales you will gain insights on various Performance Marketing channels. In Brand Marketing you will learn how we work on the brand image of Zalando and use different online and offline marketing channels to inspire the customers. The Merchandising team will show you how to identify country specific trends, initiatives and opportunities. In Customer Satisfaction Improvement you will learn which levers in Operations we have to increase customer satisfaction. In addition, you can go for two wish phases in any department of your choice to complement your professional profile.

YOUR CHALLENGES

·  You will support key projects and also manage some of them on your own. You will be responsible for analyzing, planning, tracking of the various process steps, as well as quality controls and evaluations, thereby understanding operations related steps and the customer journey
·  By shadowing your mentor (Country Cluster Head) as well as your buddy you will get deep insights into Zalando as a key Ecommerce player, and into how all the different channels and functions are related
·  You will develop a keen analytical, strategic and commercial mindset throughout this trainee program, by focusing on business related cases and challenges
·  You will work closely with various stakeholders throughout Zalando and thereby developing a professional way of communication
·  Through the rotations in the trainee program you will actively build up your professional network in different parts of Zalando

Desired profile

YOUR PROFILE

·  You hold a degree (bachelor or master) with outstanding grades overall, especially in analytical subjects
·  Next to fluent English you speak at least one European language on a fluent level from one of the following markets: Benelux, UK, Nordics, Spain, Italy, Poland, France, Austria, Switzerland, Germany
·  You could gather first work experience (1 year) through internships, preferably in the ecommerce sector
·  You stand out due to your proactiveness and curiosity; you are comfortable with constant change
·  You are great with people: you are outgoing, have great communication skills and love to be part of a diverse team
·  You have proven that you are a high potential, but you could maintain a humble attitude
·  Above all, you are willing to learn and have a high drive and intrinsic motivation
