YOU ARE SETTING STANDARDS

Create. As a Category Marketing Manager you’ll develop the Category Marketing strategy for Men while considering quantitative and qualitative assortment KPI’s. You will create and manage campaigns for our growing audience. You identify important product areas, brands, topics based on demand, budget, delivery curves, and the Zalando positioning in the market for your category, Men . In your role as project lead you plan, coordinate, and implement our new Category-relevant Onsite-Editorial- Shops, and further optimize the existing ones.

Coordinate. You are responsible for the campaign management, including planning, implementation, managing the various marketing channels, briefing and campaign reporting for your category. You will be the interface with the respective Buying/Merchandising team, Group Brand Marketing, Content Production, Markets and Channels on day-to- day activities You provide marketing-relevant assortment information, process the information for different channels and maintain relevant information-flow between categories and marketing channels.

Collaborate. Constant exchange with other departments is key to your work, ensuring that we act in line with the whole organization. You will liaise with multiple stakeholders on various projects and have touch points with multiple departments within Group Brand Marketing, Fashion Store Marketing and Category Management and Markets. You own the briefing and approval processes with all stakeholders in the Sales & Marketing team and run these with your structured way of working.

 

YOU ARE SKILLED

Know-How . You have completed your business studies (or similar) with outstanding grades. You have a minimum of 3 years working experience in a similar and relevant role, preferably in the fashion industry. In one of your previous experiences you have already proven your strong skills in process-related and structured thinking.

Planning. You are stress resistant and a genius in the areas of planning, coordination and conception. Furthermore, you’re flexible and you can adapt easily to changing situations and requirements. Your work showcases your quick thinking and proactive attitude, which also means you keep on top of things in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders. You are a multitasking wizard with a keen eye for detail.

Fashion. You have a strong affinity to fashion: You know the market and industry like no one else and you know where you can find information as well as inspiration.

Team Player. You have the ability to work well on your own, as well as in a team setting. You’re highly flexible and highly comfortable with change. Experience in team leading is a plus.
