BUYING ASSISTANT (M/F)

Job description

There's no stopping us growing and we are looking for you to join our team – to start immediately, in a permanent role at our beautiful Berlin Friedrichshain location. As an assistant (m/f) you'll be the right hand of the buyer and will be responsible for all operating activities. You'll correspond with the suppliers, you'll be in charge of administrative tasks and supervise orders.

YOUR CHALLENGE

· You'll support our buyers in operational and functional matters
· In conjunction with our buyers, you'll be the contact person for our suppliers
· You'll supervise delivery dates and budget and planning demands
· You'll help to prepare orders and provide follow up support where necessary
· You'll prepare and maintain the master data of our products in our merchandise management system
· You'll work closely with our product supply management team in order to ensure our products are available for purchase
· You'll set up and maintain condition contracts with suppliers

WHAT YOU´VE GOT

· You're proud of your professional training in business or of an university degree
· You've already been working in an administrative role and have fun working with numbers

· Good organisational skills are one of your biggest strengths and you stay on top of everything; even with very complex projects
· MS Office, especially Excel, is part of your daily routine and ideally you've gained some experience with merchandise management systems
· You get straight to the heart of important information and love being straightforward in general
· You like to negotiate with our suppliers
· You cut a fine figure in both written and oral German and English
· Fashion and lifestyle are a passion of yours
