We are looking for someone who is passionate and interested in product development and wants to work for our exciting Women Shoes Product Development department. As an assistant product developer, you will be assisting in the development of our products by supporting our product developers with fit sessions and the approval process to ensure that all products meet our quality, customers and business standards. The role requires someone who is highly organised, adaptable to change and above all eager to learn and understand more about the technical aspect of apparel.

Your challenge

·  Organise, measure and prepare samples for assessment and sample meetings
·  Log and track samples and organise the post on daily basis 
·  Assist product developers with putting together technical packs
·  Attend fit sessions and take over responsibility over basic commodity groups
·  Write fit comments and communicate them to the supplier
·  Check incoming production samples and pass them to the quality control dept.
·  Regularly update the critical path to ensure all is on track within the department.
·  Deal with administration and spreadsheets
·  Working closely with the other departments that make up the team, such as buying, design and quality control 

What you’ve got

·  Passionate and interested in fashion and product development
·  A graduate with a fashion or product development related degree
·  Able to work in a fast paced environment and able to cope with multiple tasks, maintaining high level of accuracy at all times
·  Self-motivated, enthusiastic with a ‘can-do’ attitude
·  IT literate, with good experience using Microsoft office, as well as Adobe Illustrator/ Indesign
·  An excellent communicator and always willing to help others in your team
