Exciting Opportunity with Yorkshire Water Technical Specialist - Water/Waste Water Based at Buttershaw, Bradford
We are currently looking to recruit two Technical Specialists - Water/Waste Water to support in the optimisation of our current treatment works, providing technical expertise and guidance to ensure stability and reliability of the treatment process.
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience + pension + quarterly performance related bonus + 25 days holiday
What will the role involve?
You will work as part of the Asset Integrity Team to provide expert technical guidance on water/wastewater treatment process.
You will be responsible for providing technical support and planning for existing treatment plant optimisation and asset care plans. Understanding risks through process or maintenance shortfalls, you will provide onsite optimisation and recovery plans to ensure stable and compliant performance.
You will develop and maintain technical standards and policies for integrated asset plans which include design, criticality ranking, operation, maintenance, asset investigation, investment policy and investment decisions, to ensure compliance with legislation and the achievement of business plans and regulatory targets.
You will support the delivery of new capital works, lead design development of process plant solutions and provide process expertise for plant installation and commissioning.
What skills are we looking for ?
You will have significant technical water/wastewater treatment process experience .You will have relevant academic/professional qualifications (preferably Chartered or holding full membership of an appropriate professional body e.g. IChemE or CIWEM) .
Other key demonstrable experience required is:
Experience of working with a team to deliver significant projects in short timeframes.
Experience of supporting and embedding change, able to influence and drive the right culture and behaviours.
Understanding of business targets and priorities and how the relevant asset groups contribute to this
Experience of the development of operations and maintenance plans, asset management plans, statistical process control and reliability plans, including use of tools such as FMECA and applied RCM, is desirable.
