Technical writer (W/M)

Job description

• Write the description of a product, equipment or procedure for an existing product or one under development.

• Design complete technical documents.

• Ensure the follow-up and consistency of the various technical supports (instructions, technical guides, etc.).

• Update existing documentation if necessary.

• Check and validate technical documentation in compliance with the standards used.

Desired profile

• You possess a Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering (specifically mechanical or methods) or a background in technical writing.

• You have excellent writing skills in simplified technical English.

• You are familiar with the main processes and methodologies involved in structuring information.

• Fluent in English.

• Mastery of writing software: ArborText, XML, DITA and the Office pack.

• Knowledge of Windchill is a plus.

• Experience in the Oil & Gas industry would be a big plus.
