The Company

Worldpay - do you know who we are? We are growing and have lots of jobs available, so given how many adverts we have at the moment,… you may well know who we are! Not everyone does though and yet globally, billions of money transactions a year are made using our payments processes.

We process almost 50% of payments on the UK high street and we are the largest in Europe so there's a good chance that Worldpay took care of your last payment, you just didn't know it. We are a financial technology company and every second of every day, we help businesses around the world to collect payments swiftly and securely.

The Team

Our Collections and Recoveries Team are responsible for collecting outstanding monies from our customers, owed to us for the services we provide. No need to sugarcoat it - customers owe us money and we need to get it back - and that's where you come in.

What you will be doing

• Cash Collection
• Aged Debt Reduction
• Daily contact with merchants
• Cash allocation
• Query management
• Relationship management
• Contribution to reporting
• Contribute to process improvement
• To collaborate and share best practice
• Operate in line with FCA, DPA and Banking Code Regulations

What we are looking for

• Previous Credit Control/Collections experience (or demonstrable interest/reason to move into this area)
• Experience of working in a B2B and sole trader collections environment highly desirable
• Excellent telephone communication skills
• Excellent attitude towards customer service
• Working knowledge of Excel
• Experience of Aged Debt Reporting
• Experience of working within Regulated environments (For example FCA, TCF)
